Ken Otter is an experienced Family Historian who has offered to resurrect the U3A Family History Group. This will take place in Tallington Village Hall at the same time as the Computer Group. See the details below. For beginners and experienced family historians, the excellent free broadband will help you develop your family trees with Ken’s support. Past and present members are more than welcome to come along to discuss any problems they may have.
After successful meetings in February, March, April, May and June, The Computer Group is now taking a summer break during the months of July and August. The next meeting will be on the third Tuesday in September, so watch out for more details in the next Newsletter and I look forward to seeing you all again in the autumn.

The Computer Group is also changing! Martin Lander is moving on to do other things and has handed over leadership to Ken Otter. As there have always been problems with the broadband in Barn Hill it has been decided to move to Tallington Village Hall on the third Tuesday from 10.30am to 12.30pm. This will tie in nicely with the 301 Delaine bus at 10.05am from Stamford, back at 12.45pm.
Hopefully meetings will include a bit more than previously as some interactive computer related tasks will be available for those wanting to learn more!
