This meeting took place on Wednesday 22nd February at Blackstones Sports and Social Club.
There was a change to the programme. Michael Lumb was unable to give his talk this month so Alexacame along and Michael will be on stage in March.
Alexa talked about "Life as an Ambassador on East Midlands Railway". She has worked in the railway industry for more than 20 years and for the East Midlands Railways since 2016.
Her current role as Community Ambassador sees her looking after station adopters, community groups, and charities at over 50 of East Midlands Railways' stations, working alongside organisations including Network Rail, British Transport Police and The Samaritans.
An interesting aspect to railways unknown to a lot of people. She is very much involved with the station adopters at Stamford Station assisting us on our projects there.
