The first meeting of 2023 was on January 25th at Blackstones Sports and Social Club at 10am.
By popular demand we showed another BFI British Transport Film, Farmer Moving South, which is the story of a farmer moving from Yorkshire to Sussex by train with all his livestock on the coldest day of the year. Jane Ellis our guest speaker has done a lot of research on this film and she guided us through it. She knows the station, the farmer, and the route that the train took.
