In May, we visited Glendon Hall, where Rose Bose told us the history of the house and garden, followed by a guided tour. The large garden was delightful with many unusual plants, a walled kitchen garden - and mature specimen trees. We ended the visit with refreshments and a chat in her lovely kitchen and courtyard. Our next visit will be to Thistleton Road Market, Overton, on 20th June.
