In a very entertaining talk, Russell who has had an allotment for over 25 years, covered carving, growing and cooking pumpkins. He even provided us with home cooked pumpkin scones, which were delicious!
His talk covered his method of no-dig gardening which members found very interesting.
Russell finished with an interactive rendition of popular songs with pumpkin inspired lyrics.
Tea and cake followed the talk, during which, Russell was happy to talk to members and answer any questions they had.
